Our Mission
Central Florida Infrared was founded on a single principle: building owners deserve accurate, unbiased information about the condition of their roofs — not a sales pitch.
We are consultants, not contractors. We do not sell roofing materials, perform roofing work, or receive referral fees from contractors. When we deliver a report, our only obligation is to the truth of what the data shows.
Using certified thermal imaging technology and FAA-licensed aerial drones, we locate hidden moisture, map wet substrates, and document building defects with a level of precision that visual inspection simply cannot match. Our reports give building owners, facility managers, architects, and engineers the data they need to make informed decisions — whether that means targeted repairs, full replacement planning, or litigation support.

How We Work
Our Approach
Pre-Survey Analysis
We review existing roof documentation, drawings, and maintenance history before arriving on site. Preparation produces better data.
Thermal Survey
Surveys are conducted under optimal conditions — typically within two hours after sunset when thermal contrast between wet and dry insulation is greatest. We use high definition calibrated FLIR thermal cameras.
Aerial Thermography
For large or complex rooftops, our FAA-licensed drone pilots deploy thermal-equipped UAVs to capture a complete aerial thermal map of the entire roof surface.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Thermal images are analyzed, moisture boundaries are GPS-mapped, and findings are compiled into a detailed written report with annotated imagery and remediation recommendations.
